Candy Crush Saga Review
Candy crush saga is a bunch of puzzles for sweet tooth players. It is simple, it has multiple modes, and it is full of candies. Now it comes to your mobile, so you can enjoy solving puzzles anywhere you are.
It is a free mobile game that is really easy to play by picking the candies you need with a tap, to switch or swiping them to the right or left, up or down. This easiness is the most attractable part of the game. No tutorial needed, and still, you receive some basic recommendations from the game. Swipe candies, get bonuses.
Graphics are not really complicated. It is typical for many puzzle games. Everything is bright and adorable, the colors are vivid. Lots of green, pink, and light blue everywhere. It is actually really catchy. The intro is very well-drawn, showing the characters you can pick from their best and unique sides.
And as for the music: it starts great. It is fun and is definitely made to cheer you up. But if you are playing for man hours, it gets really really annoying. Turn down the sound or completely turn it off, and make sure it does not distract you.
Candy Crush is somewhat similar to Bejeweled, just with candies. After you pick one of the characters to play with, there is a battlefield appears. It looks like a chess board, but with candies instead, and not so much empty space. You’ll need to calculate your chances before making any move. In the future, you will learn how to do it automatically, without paying attention to this process.
You’ll receive scores by lining similar candies into one row. Depending on the mode you have chosen, the game can require from 3 to 5 candies in one line before crush happens and you get your scores. There is no answer to the question why do you have to crush candies. It just looks better in some way. The better you perform more scores you receive. There is happy music after each level you pass.
Beware, on the places of crushed candies appeared new ones, dropping randomly from above. They will fill gaps. So, your perfect strategy may fall apart in one second. Now you have to build a new one, considering freshly appeared candies.
There are tricky jelly squares appear once the game starts progressing. They can be removed only after candy crush. The shape of the board changes in almost every new level. It is fun to see new updates, but sometimes the shape of the board can add difficulty to the level.
